Roanoke police said on Monday that a pedestrian who was struck by a car in a parking lot passed away as a result of her injuries.

According to a press statement, the city’s 911 contact center informed the police around midday that a collision between a car and a pedestrian had taken place in the 2300 block of Franklin Road Southwest.
