Two arrested after dispute at Christiansburg Wal-Mart
CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. – Two people have been arrested following an incident that took place at a grocery store in Christiansburg on Monday, Christiansburg officials said.
On Monday around 7:04 p.m., officers from the Christiansburg Police Department and deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a fight at the Christiansburg Wal-Mart, according to the release.
Police said that callers reported at least one person with a gun.
When law enforcement arrived, they said they found four people involved: two adults and two juveniles.
The altercation began as an argument, police said, then one juvenile drew a firearm, but no shots were fired and no one was hurt.
Police said that officers recovered the weapon involved, as well as an additional weapon from a vehicle that belonged to a person involved.
Misty Osborne, 41, was arrested for obstruction of justice, according to police, and was released on an unsecured bond.
One juvenile was also taken into custody, then to the Juvenile Court Services Unit for charges of carrying a concealed weapon, brandishing a firearm, possessing a firearm under the age of 18, and domestic assault, according to police.
