Target will hold a trade-in event for used car seats for an app, an online discount for baby gear

ROANOKE, Va. – Target has announced that its event for trading in used car seats will begin this Sunday and continue until the 24th of September.

During the event, Target announced that customers would be able to recycle an old, broken, or expired car seat in exchange for a coupon that could be used on the Target app or online to get a 20% discount on a car seat, stroller, or other item related to baby gear.

According to Target’s website, the offer is valid through October 8th.

In addition, the company said that Waste Management, which is one of their partners, will reuse the components of the used car seats that were swapped in order to manufacture new items.
