Search continues for 81-year-old woman missing out of Roanoke
ROANOKE, Va. – Roanoke Police continue to search for a woman with dementia missing since last week.
Harriet Hodges, 81 of Roanoke, was reported missing after being seen at her home, but not since, in the 2200 block of Windsor Avenue SW Friday, March 19.
She was last reported seen wearing white pants and a purple jacket; she typically carries a cane. She stands at 5-feet-3 inches tall and weighs 125 pounds with brown eyes and gray/white hair.
The Missing Pieces Network says Hodges is well-known in the area and often walks near Woodrow Wilson Middle School. She can also often be seen walking down Memorial Avenue and Grandin Road. MPN officials are asking residents and business owners in the area to check their property and review any security footage for signs of her, and to call 540-853-2212 with any information.
