Roanoke man sentenced to 10 years in prison for involuntary manslaughter

ROANOKE, Va. – According to the Roanoke City Commonwealth’s Attorney, a man who had been charged with murder in Roanoke has pled no contest to the charge.

The judge handed down a sentence of ten years in jail for Abdul Fluellen.

In September of 2021, Fluellen was arrested for his suspected role in the murder of 27-year-old Malik Sims.
