Relocation of gas lines in Roanoke to start Monday, road closed during construction

Roanoke, Virginia – The relocation of gas lines in Roanoke will begin on August 9 and part of 13^th Street SE will be closed.
Due to the work, 13^th Street SE between Wise Avenue and Tazewell Avenue will be closed.
During the period of construction, which is expected to be finished by November, traffic on 13^th Street se will be detoured.
In order to avoid potential delays in traffic, drivers are urged to find alternative routes.
