Police investigating two shooting incidents that left two people injured
Roanoke, Virginia – The Roanoke City Police Department is looking into two early morning gunshots in the Northwest Roanoke neighborhood.
The first incident took place in the vicinity of West Side Boulevard. The call was received at about 3:14 a.m. on Sunday, according to police.
According to the police, two individuals had non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
The second incident took place in the vicinity of Melrose Avenue Northwest. Police got a call from dispatch about an hour after the first incident, at around 4:11 a.m.
According to investigators, the man was suffering from non-life-threatening wounds.
The Roanoke Police Department’s investigation showed that the two crimes were linked.
According to officials, no arrests have been made as of this moment since the investigation is still underway at this time.
