Overnight shooting in Roanoke leaves one person hospitalized

ROANOKE, Va. – After a gunshot that took place in the middle of the night in downtown Roanoke, the Roanoke Police Department has said that a victim is now receiving medical treatment.

The incident reportedly took place shortly before one in the morning on Saturday in the vicinity of the 100 block of Campbell Avenue, according to the police.

According to the police, there was one individual shot who was brought to a hospital, but no one has been taken into jail at this time.
