Multi-vehicle crash in Gretna sent 3 people to the hospital

GRETNA, Va. – Three people were sent to the hospital on Sunday as a result of a multi-vehicle accident in Gretna that had substantial entrapment.

At about 11:50 a.m., Gretna Fire & Rescue units were alerted to the 10500 block of E Gretna Road in response to a report of an accident with entrapment.

The units first located two patients that were trapped and stabilized the trailer.

In the end, three people had to be transported to local hospitals. The investigation into the collision is being handled by the Virginia State Police.
