Man killed in Norfolk crash identified

NORFOLK, Va. — On Thursday afternoon, a man was killed in a vehicle crash in the Fairmont Park area of Norfolk.

The Norfolk Police Department said that the crash involving a motorcycle occurred at the intersection of Tidewater Drive and Shoop Avenue around 3:05 p.m.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene and was later identified as Norfolk resident Steven A. Bullock.

An initial investigation revealed that Bullock had been sideswiped by a vehicle, forcing him to go off the road and hit a pole.
