Roanoke, Virginia – A man from Roanoke entered a guilty plea in connection with the murder of his fiancée.
DeAngelo Bonds, 22, was arrested on February 14 for killing his fiancée and dumping her body in the Roanoke River.
According to the Roanoke Police Department, this occurred after officers responded to reports of “strange circumstances” at an apartment in the 3400 block of Bennett Drive NW, where the two were living together at the time.
Authorities found a pool of blood outside the apartment door, bullet casings, and blood on the floor and walls when they arrived.
Investigators found that Bonds had put the body of Adreonna Keffer in the Roanoke River after he was arrested.
Bonds entered a guilty plea to first-degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and concealment of a dead body charges on Wednesday.
The date of the trial when the judge will sentence him is unknown at the moment.
