Kraft Heinz recalls thousands of Capri Sun cases
Thousands of cases of Capri Sun have been recalled, NBC reported.
On Friday, Kraft Heinz made the announcement that the drink pouches may be contaminated with cleaning solution, according to NBC.
The article said that the solution is used on food processing equipment and was inadvertently introduced into a production line at one of the factories making Capri Sun.
NBC reported that about 5,760 cases of the drink were recalled, and Kraft Heinz said that the only flavor affected was Wild Cherry Flavored Juice Drink Blend.
The company discovered the issue when customers started complaining about the taste of the affected Wild Cherry Capri Suns, the article said.
The “Best When Used By” date on the cases is June 25, 2023, according to NBC.
If you think you might have the tainted Capri Suns, you are being asked to return them to the store.
