I-81 accident in Roanoke County that caused closures on multiple lanes cleared

Roanoke, Virginia – According to VDOT, an accident on I-81 South in Roanoke County has closed multiple lanes.
The collision occurred at mile marker 141, according to authorities.
The left shoulder, left lane, and right shoulder on the southbound side are all closed.
Traffic is backed up for 2.5 miles as of 7:45 a.m.
VDOT is informing that the crash has been cleared.
