Free assessment courses offered for motorcycle riders

Free assessment courses offered by the Ride 2 Save Lives (R2SL) program of the Virginia State Police are open to motorcyclists in the state who have a competence level that is above that of a beginner.

The Scan, Identify, Predict, Decide, and Execute method is used throughout the course to help riders improve their abilities and ensure their own safety.

Trooper Crewe of the State Police talked about the dangers that are present on the roads every day for motorcyclists. He spoke on the manner in which participants may learn how to handle unusual circumstances, interstate roads, and how to negotiate curves.
