Crews rescue injured hiker at Dragons Tooth Trail

Roanoke, Virginia – One hiker was rescued in Roanoke County and is now recovering from injuries.
Roanoke County Fire and Rescue Department responded to a call on Sunday of an injured hiker at the top of Dragons Tooth Trail, according to captain. It took up to three hours for the crews to rescue the injured man. 17 people from the Roanoke County Fire and Rescue Department were involved in this rescue mission.
After being rescued from the top of Dragon’s Tooth Trails, the hiker was transported to a local hospital.
He is in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
