COVID-19 vaccination clinic in Arlington County will close next month due to a drop in demand

The COVID-19 vaccination clinic that was open to the public in Arlington County, Virginia, is going to close next month.

Because COVID-19 vaccinations are now easy to get in the community through pharmacies, urgent care centers, and medical providers, the county administration said in a statement that the clinic would close because of a drop in demand.

The clinic, which is located at Sequoia Plaza, 2100 Washington Blvd., will continue to operate through December 17 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on every day except Monday and the weekend. The clinic will also be closed for Veterans Day and Thanksgiving.

Visit Vaccines.gov in order to schedule appointments with local pharmacies and other healthcare providers.

In addition, the county announced that all of the Curative testing kiosks in Arlington would be closed on November 30th, with the exception of the kiosk located at the Arlington Mill Community Center, which will remain operational until the end of the year. The kiosks have seen an 80% decline in the past year.
