Community health fair held at Seventh-day Adventist Church

ROANOKE, Va. – Residents of the Roanoke Valley community received new information about health and wellbeing on Sunday.

On September 18th, a community health fair was held at the Seventh-day Adventist Church on Melrose Avenue.

At the event, a large number of organizations educated attendees about the many services that are accessible to them.

The groups provided health checks, as well as talks, samples, and pointers on how to live a healthier lifestyle. Health experts said that drinking enough water every day was one of the most important pieces of advice they could give.

In order to get to know the children in the area, Roanoke Fire and Emergency Medical Services were there, and so was Miss Virginia.

The purpose of the event was to promote healthy lifestyles among residents of the Roanoke Valley.
