BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Community Foundation for the New River Valley is trying to help charitable organizations in the area by giving them grants.
The grant catalog has been made available by the foundation. It has a list of all the charities that are working with the foundation, along with a short description of each one and a link to a donation page for its cause.
According to the CFNRV, helping these groups could make a big difference in the improvement of the community as a whole.
“Folks who are in position to give, this as a great opportunity to just read about the great work happening in the community and add a little bit to what is already being supported across the region,” CEO of the Community Foundation of the NRV Jessica Wirgau said.
Through the grant catalog, non-profit organizations may get funding of up to $4,000.
