Roanoke man faces federal drug distribution charge

ROANOKE, Va. – A Roanoke man has been arrested and charged with a federal drug distribution charge after law enforcement accuses him of distributing methamphetamine and heroin.
Tyshea Anthony Cunningham, 20, was arrested Thursday, May 14.
Cunningham faces one count of manufacturing, distributing, dispensing or possessing with the intent to manufacture, distribute, or dispense a controlled substance.
Court documents show that investigators with the Roanoke Area High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force (HIDTA) have identified multiple occasions where Cunningham sold heroin or methamphetamine.
The investigation into this case is ongoing and being conducted by the FBI, the City of Roanoke Police Department and members of the HIDTA program.
