Gov. Youngkin orders flag to be flown at half-staff in honor of those killed in UVA incident

RICHMOND, Va. – On Tuesday, November 15th, in memory of those killed in the UVA community, Governor Glenn Youngkin issued a flag order.

The Governor’s Office has ordered that all flags in Virginia be “flown at half-staff over the state Capitol and all local, state and federal buildings and grounds in the Commonwealth of Virginia in respect and memory of the victims of the University of Virginia shooting, their families, and the Charlottesville community.”

The order will take effect at dawn Tuesday morning and end at sunset Tuesday evening.
