DANVILLE, Va. – This will be the last weekend that Bubba’s Ice Cream is located at its present location.
Over the course of more than 60 years, Bubba’s Ice Cream has called the space at 2626 North Main Street home. In preparation for their 65th season, they will soon move to 2455 Franklin Turnpike, which is further up the road.
The new site will provide them with more room, as well as the opportunity to install a drive-through lane.
“We’re moving, but we’re only moving two miles down the road,” said John Arnone, owner of Bubba’s Ice Cream. “So, we expect to keep our old customers and also establish new relationships with new customers.”
They anticipate finishing the relocation into their new space by March of the following year.
