GALAX, Va. – On Monday evening, a member of the Galax Fire Department responded to a call about a person who was trapped in a tree.
According to the crew, the guy climbed around fifty feet.
According to the firefighters, they were unable to get their ladder truck close enough to the tree, so they contacted Adam Sizemore of Sizemore Lawn Care for assistance. Sizemore also serves as a fireman for the city of Galax.
The victim was safely transported to the ground by the crew in the bucket truck.
The head of the Galax fire department says that this is a great example of working together and thinking outside the box.
