CHESAPEAKE, Va. — On Sunday night in Chesapeake, a man unfortunately lost his life after being hit by a vehicle.
The crash, according to the Chesapeake Police Department, took place in the 1700 block of Military Highway South.
According to a representative for the Chesapeake Police Department, someone contacted the department to alert them about the crash at around 8:30 p.m.
The pedestrian, whose identity has not been released, has been pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
