Henry County Parks and Recreation will hold the 14th annual Smith River Fest

HENRY COUNTY, Va. – Henry County Parks and Recreation will be holding the 14th annual Smith River Fest for the community on Saturday.

At the Smith River Sports Complex, the Smith River Fest will take place between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The event will begin in the morning with riverside yoga, and then continue with a mud run, river tubing, and boat racing in the afternoon.

In addition, there will be a magic performance at noon to keep the children engaged, as well as a rock climbing wall, bounce houses, and more.

“The weather looks great tomorrow, not so hot, a little bit of cloud coverage, so it should be a perfect day to be outdoors. We were all indoors for so long, so it will be a great day to come outside and enjoy everything we have to offer here in Henry County,” director of Henry County Parks and Recreation Roger Adams said.

The majority of the activities and admission are both free of charge.

You’ll be able to find additional information about the event here.
