Bedford County crash claimed the life of a Texas man

BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. – Reports from the Virginia State Police show that a single-vehicle accident in Bedford County resulted in the death of a man from Texas who was 26 years old.

According to the reports from the police, the collision took place on Thursday at around 3:24 p.m. on Route 122, north of Campers Paradise Trail.

According to the police, the Ford Escape from 2010 was traveling south on Route 122 when it went off the right side of the road, hit an embankment, and then turned over.

Nathaniel Lutz, 26, a resident of Waco, Texas, was identified as the driver of the Ford Escape by the police.

According to the authorities, Lutz had his seatbelt on when he was in the accident, and he died at the scene.

According to VSP, the investigation into the accident is still ongoing.
