Virginia reports 654 new Covid-19 cases, 21 additional deaths

Virginia – 654 new Covid-19 cases and 21 more deaths were reported on Tuesday by the Virginia Department of Health.
Including the above mentioned new Covid-19 cases and deaths, Virginia now counts 673,759 confirmed and probable Covid-19 cases and 11,137 confirmed and probable virus related deaths.
According to VDH dashboard, the following counties reported more than 102,000 covid-19 cases:

  • Alleghany County: 1,356 cases (-7), 60 hospitalizations, and 49 deaths
  • Amherst County: 2,947 cases, 124 hospitalizations, and 37 deaths
  • Appomattox County: 1,610 cases, 69 hospitalizations, and 25 deaths
  • Bath County: 273 cases, 10 hospitalizations, and 10 deaths
  • Bedford County: 6,474 cases, 235 hospitalizations, and 103 deaths
  • Bland County: 679 cases, 27 hospitalizations, and 10 deaths
  • Botetourt County: 2,548 cases, 65 hospitalizations, and 38 deaths
  • Buena Vista: 915 cases, 23 hospitalizations, and 22 deaths
  • Campbell County: 4,528 cases, 176 hospitalizations, and 89 deaths
  • Carroll County: 2,680 cases, 216 hospitalizations, and 76 deaths
  • Charlotte County: 872 cases, 56 hospitalizations, and 21 deaths
  • Covington: 604 cases (-1), 29 hospitalizations, and 13 deaths
  • Craig County: 319 cases, 18 hospitalizations, and 6 deaths
  • Danville: 4,441 cases (-1)293 hospitalizations, and 138 deaths
  • Floyd County: 872 cases (-2), 31 hospitalizations, and 23 deaths
  • Franklin County: 4,071 cases, 187 hospitalizations, and 78 deaths
  • Galax: 1,170 cases, 97 hospitalizations, and 53 deaths
  • Giles County: 1,291 cases, 51 hospitalizations, and 22 deaths
  • Grayson County: 1,485 cases, 95 hospitalizations, and 35 deaths
  • Halifax County: 2,817 cases, 79 hospitalizations, and 78 deaths
  • Henry County: 4,633 cases, 365 hospitalizations, and 124 deaths
  • Highland County: 109 cases, 1 hospitalization, and 1 death
  • Lexington: 1,205 cases (-2), 26 hospitalizations, and 32 deaths
  • Lynchburg: 7,873 cases, 338 hospitalizations, and 154 deaths
  • Martinsville: 1,612 cases, 162 hospitalizations, and 76 deaths
  • Montgomery County: 9,395 cases (-2), 189 hospitalizations, and 97 deaths
  • Nelson County: 897 cases (-2), 41 hospitalizations, and 13 deaths
  • Patrick County: 1,367 cases, 108 hospitalizations, and 43 deaths
  • Pittsylvania County: 5,563 cases252 hospitalizations, and 83 deaths
