Firearm safety academy in Lynchburg is taking steps to increase safety by offering free situational awareness class

LYNCHBURG, Va. – T4Tactics is making significant progress toward its goal of reducing the incidence of violent crime and increasing community safety.

On Wednesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. through 8:30 p.m., the firearm safety academy will be hosting a free class on situational awareness.

The course will teach participants how to recognize the signs of an assault, use tactics for de-escalating the situation, and manage stress while under attack.

The recent violence in the area has prompted two local companies, Timber Ridge Outdoor Supply and the Hair Factory Salon, to contribute and sponsor the 16 free spots.

T4Tactics provides information on their website on how to enroll in the free class and other safety courses.
