Suspect taken into custody after Salem Fair shooting

Roanoke, Virginia – On Wednesday night shots were fired at the Salem Fair.
Officers heard gunshots around 8:57 p.m. on the Fairgrounds. A 16-year-old boy was noticed with a handgun by the officers and took him into custody.
After that police found two victims shot, one of them with serious injuries. Both of the victims were taken to Carilion.
Due to the shooting incident, the fairgrounds were closed.
