New clothing shop held a grand opening ceremony in Uptown Martinsville

MARTINSVILLE, Va. – Uptown Martinsville will soon be home to a brand-new business specializing in the sale of apparel for children.

On Tuesday morning, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held in honor of the grand opening of Forever Young. The store that sells gently used clothes for kids buys them and then sells them at a lower price.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, fifty new businesses have opened their doors in the Uptown Martinsville area.

“For the most part, all the clothing behind us, with the exception of some of like the coats and such, they’re all less than $5 apiece,” said Austin White, owner of Forever Young. “Most of that stuff is anywhere from $5 up to $17. So, it’s a huge savings for families.”

They will be open every day of the week, from 10 in the morning until 6 in the evening, during the first month that they are open.
