18,000 twinkling lights adorn Gatlinburg’s SkyBridge for Valentine’s Day
GATLINBURG, Tenn. – The Great Smoky Mountains will be shining bright this Valentine’s Day as the Gatlinburg SkyBridge is hosting a red and white twinkling lights display.
North America’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge is again hosting “Love is in the Air” throughout the month of February.
Guests will arrive to see a 30-foot tall tree of lights across the SkyDeck overlooking Gatlinburg.
The bridge is now decked out and dazzling with thousands of twinkling lights, including a 300-foot “Tunnel of Love.”
New upgrades were added to SkyLift Park last year, including doubling the amount of glass in the center of the bridge and a new scenic trail. The “SkyTrail,” a 0.3 mile scenic walkway along Crockett Mountain, connects both sides of the bridge.
