1 injured, 2 suspects at large after shooting at Valero in Martinsville

Martinsville Police are looking for two suspects involved in a shooting at the Valero convenience store on Saturday morning.
Shortly before 2 a.m., Martinsville police officers responded to a panic alarm at the Valero located at 1105 Brookdale St.
Upon arrival, the store clerk stated that two vehicles had been in the parking lot, gunshots occurred, then the vehicles left.
After further investigation, it was revealed that Ombae Johnson Jr., Dasayne Hairston, and Deangelo Howard got into an argument.
During the argument, Ombae Johnson Jr. pulled out a firearm and shot Deangelo Howard.
Howard was transported to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Warrants have now been issued for malicious wounding, shooting into an occupied building, reckless handling of a firearm, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony on both Ombae Johnson Jr., 20, and Dasyne Hairston, 19.
The case is under investigation.
